MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
REV. DR. KWAKU FRIMPONG
Rev. Dr. Kwaku Frimpong is the majority Shareholder and Chief Executive Officer of FRIMPS Oil Company Limited. He is also the owner of Eagle Petroleum, Eagle Transport, and K2 Holdings. Rev. Dr. Frimpong holds a Master of Arts Certificate in Theology from the Akrofi Christaller Institute of Theology, Missions and Culture. He also holds a Bachelor of Law Degree from the University of London; a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology from the Pentecost University College and a Certificate in Project Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). Rev. Frimpong worked with Ghana Oil Company Limited and OANDO Ghana Limited as a dealer in petroleum products. He also worked as a Supervisor at Application of Diamond Industry from 1988 to 1994; and a Manager at Idal-Modal from 1994 to 1998, in Italy. Rev. Frimpong has travelled extensively across the globe and has acquired undoubted skills at forming strategic alliances and collaborations in gaining competitive advantage for his companies. He has a unique but quiet contribution towards the building of economic leadership and entrepreneurship in Ghana.
PROF. SIAW FRIMPONG
Prof. Siaw Frimpong is the Head of Department and Associate Professor at the Department of Finance at the University of Cape Coast. Prof. Frimpong holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Finance from the Kenyatta University, a Master of Business and a Diploma in Finance from the University of Otago and a Bachelor of Commerce and a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast. Prof. Frimpong has conducted a number of research in financial literacy, small business financing, rural banks financing, capital structure and firm performance, as well as corporate governance in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). He has consulted for several institutions and serves on several boards and committees within the University of Cape Coast and outside the University.
MRS. SHIRLEY SERWAH FRIMPONG
Mrs. Shirley Serwaah Frimpong is the Ag. Managing Director of Oil trade Company Limited. She is also the General Manager and Head of the Audit Team of FRIMPS Oil Company Limited. Mrs. Frimpong holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Project Management from the University of Ghana, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting and Finance from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy from the Kumasi Polytechnic (now Kumasi Technical University).
NANA OSEI YAW
Nana Osei Yaw is a vastly experienced Chartered Insurer and an Associate Member of notable professional bodies including the Chartered Insurance Institute, (CII) UK and Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana (CIIG). He holds an Advanced Diploma in insurance from the Ghana Insurance College, an alumnus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with an Mphil in Business Consulting and Enterprise Risk Management, Nana also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Degree in Administration (Accounting Option) from the University of Ghana. Nana Osei Yaw has over 19 years experience in the insurance industry starting his career with Quality Insurance as an Insurance Officer, then he moved on to Vanguard Life as Northern Zonal Manager and to Lordship Insurance Brokers as General Manager Technical and Administration. Nana Joined Loyalty Insurance in April 2017 as a Principal Officer of the Company; in charge of the northern zone. His professionalism, competence, integrity and commitment to the objectives of the company saw him rise swiftly between 2017 and 2022, first, as Zonal Manager, then Deputy Managing Director, and eventually, Acting Managing Director of the Company. With expertise in Risk Management and a great passion to promoting professionalism in the industry, Nana Osei Yaw has excelled as a Lecturer, who tirelessly facilitates various courses in insurance at some reputable institutions including Ghana Insurance College, KNUST’s Business School, Catholic University of Ghana, and University of Energy and Natural Resources among others. His rich and multifaceted experience in the industry is of immeasurable value to our company. Nana Osei Yaw is the Kyidomhene of Subin Akrofrom. Beyond Insurance, on inspirational leadership and service to humanity, Nana Osei Yaw supports the Subin Akrofrom Charity Foundation as a Liaison Officer.
LAWRENCE HARRY OSEI
Mr. Lawrence Harry Osei holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree; and a Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Coast. Mr. Osei has over 30 years’ experience in the Insurance Industry, having worked with Quality Insurance Company Limited, Gemini Life Insurance Company Limited (now Glico Life Insurance Company Limited), Beacon Insurance Company Limited, and Covenant Insurance Brokers Limited in various capacity including being a General Manager, Branch Manager and Head of Retail.
MR. ELIAS OPPONG ABABIO
Mr. Elias Oppong Ababio is a
seasoned business strategist, entrepreneur, Insurer, and financial expert with over 17years of experience in project management, corporate finance, and investment.
As the Executive Director of LIC, he plays a pivotal role in shaping business strategy, driving financial growth, and spearheading innovative initiatives across multiple industries.
